Last night was Hollywood's big' night. You know. Most people on the planet who have televisions and access to the internet know. There were some big winners, some I agree with, some I haven't a clue about. Perhaps the person or movie that you wanted to "win," got the coveted Oscar, perhaps not. Why all the hoopla? What is the purpose of the Oscar? It's intended to acknowledge and honor excellence. Nice, huh? I like it.
So, my question: Who are the Oscar winners in your life -- and do they know it? What do you earn Oscars for? Where is your excellence and how are you acknowledging it, yourself. I'm serious about these questions. What have you done for YOURSELF lately? How 'bout others?
LIFEWORK
For yourself:
1. Identify one thing each day this week that you are doing or have done with excellence.
2. Determine an appropriate (by that I mean it's really going to make a difference to you and touch your heart) award. Did you see Jeff Bridges' speech? When he spoke about his parents, couldn't you just feel that in your heart? If not, go back and read some of my earlier posts on this blog -- particularly Unconditionally Loved. THAT's the kind of significant emotionall impact I encourage you to look for in your award. If it's not there, look for another award -- or even perhaps a different excellent thing you are doing or have done. You need to be rocked to your core with deliciousness about your service AND the award.
3. Enjoy the award! Do it, go to it, speak about it, buy it -- whatever. Make it happen. This is something to be actively enjoyed, not a great idea whose time never comes.
For others:
1. Identify one thing each day this week that one other person has done either for you or someone/something else. You can stick with the same person for five days, or have a different person each day or whatever really works for you. Make it real! They should have done something that you know has really made a difference!
2. Determine an appropriate award that you will bestow on them.
3. Give them the award!
For your award and for others:
1. Identify at least one other person you will share this with. Now, folks, don't minimize this step. This actually intensifies the butterfly effect that you've put inplace by #1-3 for yourself and others above. This is how you "pay it forward" and wake and stir up the wonderful "I love myself and others" parts of our DNA.
Lastly, allow yourself to be swept up in the tide of wonder, awe, deliciousness and Love. GO FOR IT!
I love you ... Unconditionally!

Make friends with your dragons, "bad feelings" and demons. They're doing their damnedest to kick you into gear.
Make friends with your dragons, “bad feelings” and demons. They’re doing their damnedest to kick you into gear.
Ever wonder why God allows these things to be in your life? It’s because they serve a purpose. Think about it. Many of us really get movin’ when the heat is turned up, and not before.
First of all, I subscribe that all anger is really fear – fear that something will happen that you don’t want to happen or something WON’T happen that you really want to happen. That can be things that you believe will/will not happen to you or someone/something important to you.
Fear is one of the great motivators for many of us to take action.
Here’s my suggestion. Before I present my suggestion, know this: If you’re in an immediate, life and death situation – TAKE ACTION IMMEDIATELY AND DO WHAT’S NECESSARY TO BE SAFE. Example: You’re driving and the care in front of you stops quickly. In addition to adrenalin, you might feel some fear. ACT. Swerve, brake or whatever.
If it’s a situation where the outcome is imminent death, do these things:
1. Acknowledge and address at the feeling or thought head on. Don’t try to dismiss it, pretend it’s not there, minimize or ignore it. Remember the saying, “What we resist, persists.” That’s true. So, just admit that it exists.
2. Get quiet and see how it presents itself to you. Do you see it? Hear it? Feel it? Smell it? Is it just a thought in your brain? Get as clear about what it is and how it is presenting itself to you. Believe me. It wants to be recognized, so it will present itself to you in some way.
3. Now that it’s got your attention and know it, begin to have a conversation with it.
4. This may be a twist for some of you. Begin your conversation in this way: “Beloved, thank you for the lesson that you have been and are bringing to me for my highest good. I know you have been working very hard to get my attention and that, because you were created in Love, are doing this for my highest good and the highest good of all. What is it you want me to know?”
If your partner doesn’t speak with you, it’ll be for one of two reasons: (1) It doesn’t believe you really respect the job it is trying to do; or, (2) it has been operating in darkness for so long it’s forgotten its original purpose was only to help you and that it was created in Light and Love like everything and everyone else that exists. Either way, you may need to enlist the help of some Ascended Masters, Higher Beings, Angels, etc. Whichever you connect and communicate with most often will be available to you. They will guide you and even bring in other Beings of Light if they’re needed. They’ll put together a Love Team to do the work.
Here’s the bottom line folks. If you’re in a fight, you have to be a better fighter than your opponent to win. And, win or lose, you’re still fighting. Sooooo, stop fighting. Try Love and loving instead. By loving your dragons, “bad feelings” and demons, that’s how you transmute them to higher realms of Love and Light. It’s a great win-win!
LIFEWORK: See Numbers 1-4 and the paragraph immediately following them, above. That’s it! Happy loving!

Share the love!
I usually commute to work via airplane -- 1 to 2 to as much as 3 trips each week. In the airport and on planes before we take off or after landing, I sometimes overhear people talking on their cell phones, ending calls with the words, "I love you." When I hear those words, I notice a physical change in the air on the plane. It's charged with God energy.
There is so much pain and suffering in the world -- on all levels. People are in pain individually, couples, teams, organizations, communities, nations. And that pain is on the mental, physical, emotional and spiritual levels. Many people are searching for, believe they do not have, are experiencing a lack of fulfillment, contentment, love of one or more types: Agape/Divine, familial, romantic, loyal, protective, dutiful and/or erotic.
For those of us who know/remember how Love-filled we are and the joy, beauty and privilege of sharing and exchanging love with the Creator, family, a lover, friends, etc., I believe it is our charge, duty, honor, joy to do just that -- to share, exchange and remind others that they are loved; that love is available, free, unconditional and unending. That it continues to grow and vibrate between, through, around and among us with each breath and vibration across and beyond all that is.
And so, it is with happiness, joy and gratitude that I say, "I love you." to you. When I say/send/share these three little words to you, it's anything but simple. It carries with it the Love that I feel and know with certainty is in all of creation. And I know that my meaning, intention, energy of and with those words vibrates and impacts all of creation. All of THAT is what I send with those three words.
I've become consciously aware of different types of love (Agape/Divine, familial, romantic, loyal, protective, dutiful and erotic) in the advanced energy healing classes I took in California (http://www.dancingwithsource.com/). I believe there are even more and different types of love that we've been given. What a blessing. I am overwhelmed -- oozing with love in this moment as I think of how much you and I are loved by our most divine Creator (you may say Universe, Source, God, Spirit, etc.) to have been given such a gift that is totally free!
LIFEWORK:
1. Say, “I love you!” to yourself. And list at least 5 reasons that you do.
2. Identify 5 people in your life – family, friends, co-workers or even strangers – and say those magic words, “I love you!” to them. Be sure to give each of them at least 5 reasons that you love them. Having this conversation with them face-to-face is most ideal. If that’s not possible or practical, a visual media like Skype is next best, then telephone. While you may follow up a conversation with email or a letter, please begin with actual contact, human to human.
3. After you’ve connected with these 6 people (5 others, plus yourself), do some journaling about how and what you’re feeling and thinking about yourself, situations in your life and life itself.
4. Share the results and impact on this blog.
.
That's all. And so, I have only one more thing to say as I end this missive to you. You know what it is, so you won't be surprised and I surely won't disappoint: I LOVE YOU--UNCONDITIONALLY!!!!!!!
